Partner Programme

Gazing Performance Systems PENGOR UK Limited partners with Gazing Performance Systems www.gazing.com.

Gazing Performance is an international business currently working with clients in over 60 countries to deliver sustainable improvements in performance.

Set up in the UK 1998, they initially focused on sales and sales management training. But from the outset, had a distinctive approach, reflecting the very different perspectives and professional backgrounds of our founding directors - who brought to Gazing experience in fields as diverse as forensic psychiatry and international sport.

By 2002/03, they were moving into the international arena, through a network of carefully chosen partners, and starting to focus on the development and delivery of systems to optimise performance under pressure.

From sales, they extended their offering to cover other key business functions, such as developing leadership and management programmes. And, over the more recent past, a further natural progression has been to apply their expertise in performance under pressure to the very different challenges faced by top athletes and teachers.

Gazing worldwide

Gazing is a truly international business. They make their expertise in performance under pressure available to clients all over the world through a network of carefully selected partners.
To date, there are 12 - all formally licensed and fully accredited in delivering our core programmes, to a consistent and rigorously monitored standard.

In their home territories, Gazing's partners take full responsibility for all programme follow-up and implementation support. And they also encourage them to adapt their programmes, as appropriate, to reflect local needs.

So far, the Gazing programmes have been delivered in 13 languages and in over 60 countries.

Their vibrant and growing global network isn't just an efficient means of extending their geographical reach; it's a mutually beneficial community, within which regular communications enables them to share ideas, compare case studies, and continue to raise their game.

Why they're called Gazing

Their name derives from the Gazing Principle, propounded by the Japanese swordsman and philosopher Musashi.

His legendary prowess, which enabled him to come unscathed through countless duels with other Samurai, was based on a "double gaze": one eye on the immediate situation (the opponent trying to kill him) and the other on the bigger picture (the state of play on the wider battle-field).

The key to success, as Musashi demonstrated, is the ability to switch constantly between the two: no point focusing on details of execution if you haven't got a clear sense of overall strategy - and vice versa.

Partners in improved performance

Pengor is not in the business of delivering neatly packaged training products, then walking away and leaving the client to struggle with implementation.

The focus is on sustainable improvements in performance, which means that in the majority of cases, we work with clients over a period of months, or even years, to ensure that the performance system we've introduced is functioning effectively, and fully understood by those who use it, to deliver the best possible results.

Of course, our clients expect exceptional performance from us. But our systems for success achieve most when they come to see us as partners in a mission-critical undertaking: unlocking the vast human potential within their business, freeing people to give their best, whatever pressure they may be under.
